What is Directive (EU) 2023/970?
A European directive adopted on 10 May 2023 requiring member states to introduce pay-transparency rules — salary ranges in job vacancies, the right of workers to request pay information, a ban on pay-secrecy clauses, and mandatory reporting of pay differences. The deadline for transposition into Bulgarian law is 7 June 2026.
